Featured Fashion Friday – The Music Evolution

Throughout time, mankind has always found new and exciting ways to make noise.  Later this noise was called Music.  Then one day that music got Electricity and nothing has been the same.  Enjoy our Featured Fashion this week and Rock On!

I Miss Reagan

The next few months will be full of political advertisements, accusations, promises and speculation.  We may all go insane or we may just shut off the television.  When did politics become so venomous (perhaps it’s always been that way and we just chose to forget it).  In that spirit we present a new shirt for those of you who are quietly wishing it was the 80’s again.  Go Ronnie!

Ouch, that hurts my Ego!

So, I’ve run 25+ marathons and a few ultras over the past 7 years.  This year I even did a few 12 hour Adventure Races.  I’m feeling pretty good about myself and then I see our newest Tee.  I guess I still have something to shoot for.  If only I had actually learned to swim in my youth and not spent all that time on the slides.

Featured Fashion Friday– I Love Pixels

I grew up in the 80’s.  I remember getting our first Atari 2600 and thinking how great it was.  We had two games that came with the system (Pac Man and Combat) and that was enough.  The gameplay was simple and we didn’t notice what it looked like.  We had no idea that 10, 20 and 30 years later, technology would change so much.  But sometimes, when no one is looking, I’ll grab some classics on my Ipad and play a few minutes of Yars Revenge or Space Invaders.  Sure they aren’t deep, but then again, neither am I.

Free Tee Tuesday

Yes, you read that correctly.  Every Tuesday we are going to give away one of our fabulous new Tee’s to one lucky winner.  All you need to do is share this post on Facebook or Twitter or comment on the post itself.  We will randomly pick someone and contact you for size and color preferences.  For our First ever Free Tee we are offering our popular “Coffee Empty” design.  Let us know what you think of the shirt and Good Luck!

Can’t we all just get along.

Some people use Twitter for Good.  Other’s, not so much.  How amazing would the world be if we all followed the simple mantra expressed in the Design below to “Tweet others the way you’d like to be Tweeted”.  On the other hand, some people’s tweets are just so fun to read, their intentions are secondary.

Exhibit 1:  Kanye West.  Idolator.com recently posted their 35 favorite Kanye tweets in honor of his 35th Bday.  My favorite is #1:  “I hate when I’m on a flight and I wake up with a water bottle next to me like oh great now I gotta be responsible for this water bottle”

Featured Fashion Friday — Peace in the World

This week’s featured fashion is one of our Vegan Tee’s:  “There will never be any peace in the world as long as we eat animals”.  The quote is attributed to Isaac Bashevis Singer, the late writer who was a Nobel Prize winner.  From the wiki report:

Singer was a prominent vegetarian[24] for the last 35 years of his life and often included vegetarian themes in his works. In his short story, The Slaughterer, he described the anguish of an appointed slaughterer trying to reconcile his compassion for animals with his job of killing them. He felt that the ingestion of meat was a denial of all ideals and all religions: “How can we speak of right and justice if we take an innocent creature and shed its blood?” When asked if he had become a vegetarian for health reasons, he replied: “I did it for the health of the chickens.”

Many team members of the Iamtee.com family are Vegan or Vegetarian and this is indeed a Passion for them.  What do you believe about the treatment of animals in today’s world?  We realize this is a heated topic, but change will only occur when we take the time to listen to each other.

WWJT

Years ago it was a bracelet.  What would Jesus Do?  Today, technology would help Jesus reach a whole new audience.  What would he say in 140 characters or less?  If he had a Facebook page and someone unfriended him, would there be consequences?  What would he pin on his board?  Why am I asking so many questions?

What would Jesus Tweet?
